BERNIER Connect designs and manufactures rugged connectors for military vehicles built to operate in extreme conditions. As part of our presence across the UK defence sector, we exhibit at DVD 2026. DVD, short for Defence Vehicle Dynamics, is the UK's biennial land defence exhibition. It takes place on 16 and 17 September 2026 at UTAC Millbrook, in Bedfordshire. There, defence industry, MOD delivery teams and the British Army meet to discuss vehicles, equipment and logistics for land forces. This year's theme is "Connected for Combat: aligning people, systems and decisions". It resonates directly with our own work on rugged connectivity.
BERNIER Connect at DVD 2026 with Active Electronics
BERNIER Connect exhibits at DVD 2026 alongside our UK partner Active Electronics. Throughout the show, our sales team is on hand to discuss your connector and sourcing requirements. Active Electronics is BERNIER Connect's official franchise partner in the UK, distributing our full range of push-pull and quick-release connectors, including the connectors of the CMA series, CMASD series, MMC series and NWA series.
Connectors engineered for military vehicle dynamics
Military land vehicles operate under punishing conditions: constant vibration, shock, mud, dust and wide temperature swings. Our rugged connectors for military vehicles are engineered specifically for these conditions. They keep signal and power connections intact where a standard connector would fail. In the UK, BERNIER connectors support applications such as Future Soldier systems, intercoms, tactical radios, crypted data links, ruggedised computers and optronic devices, all distributed locally through Active Electronics.
DVD remains one of the few events where the full UK land defence community meets in one place, from prime contractors to the British Army and the Ministry of Defence. We look forward to discussing your next vehicle or equipment programme with our team on site.
